When gambling is becoming a problem

Most people gamble without ever losing control. For some, it stops being entertainment and starts being something else. Some honest signs to watch for in yourself or someone close to you:

• Spending more money or time on gambling than was planned.
• Chasing losses — placing larger bets to recover what's already gone.
• Borrowing money, selling possessions, or skipping bills to fund play.
• Lying about how much was spent, or where the time went.
• Feeling restless, anxious, or irritated when not gambling.
• Gambling to escape stress, sadness, or other feelings rather than for fun.
• Relationships, work, or sleep suffering because of the time spent playing.

None of these mean a person is broken. They mean it's time to pause and use the tools below — or talk to one of the services further down.

Tools every brand on our network must offer

We don't list a brand on JURISAL OÜ// unless it offers the following directly inside the player account:

• Deposit limits — daily, weekly, and monthly caps a player can set on themselves.
• Loss limits — a ceiling on net loss across a period.
• Wager limits — a ceiling on total stake.
• Session limits — automatic logout after a set time.
• Reality checks — pop-up reminders of time and money spent.
• Cooling-off periods — short pauses (24h to 6 weeks).
• Self-exclusion — longer-term lockouts; see below.

Loosening a limit always involves a delay before it takes effect. Tightening it is immediate. This is non-negotiable.

Self-exclusion

If a player asks to be excluded — from a single brand, from a group, or from an entire national register — the operator must honour it without friction. Many countries also operate a centralised self-exclusion register a player can join with a single request:

• GAMSTOP (Great Britain) — covers every UKGC-licensed site.
• Spelpaus (Sweden) — covers every Spelinspektionen-licensed site.
• ROFUS (Denmark).
• CRUKS (Netherlands).
• OASIS (Germany).
• RUIJB (Romania).

A self-exclusion in one of these systems cannot be reversed before the chosen period ends — by design. If a brand on our network accepts a registered self-excluded player, that's a Tier-3 violation under our Compliance policy.

Protecting minors

No one under 18 (or 21, where required) should be able to access a real-money gambling product. The brands we list run identity verification at signup and again at first withdrawal. As a parent or guardian, additional protection is available through device-level filters:

• Net Nanny, Qustodio, Bark — parental control suites.
• GamBan — paid app that blocks gambling sites and apps across devices.
• Gamblock — similar; sold to households and to people self-excluding.

For affiliates

If you run a content site, a comparison page, or paid media, the rules we enforce are simple and they're checked:

• Display 18+ (or 21+ where required) on every page that mentions a brand.
• Link to this page, or to an equivalent national helpline, in your footer.
• Do not target known self-exclusion list members — if you run remarketing, scrub against any GEO-required exclusion file.
• Do not advertise inside content that has a predominantly under-age audience.
• Do not use language implying gambling is a way to make money, solve debt, or impress anyone.

We'd rather lose a click than break someone's life. So would the regulators. So should you.
